For a beautiful little girl

A million times I've missed you, a million times I've cried.
If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.
To some you are forgotten, to others just part of the past;
but to me who loved and lost you, your love will always last.
It broke my heart to lose you, you didn't go alone,
for my life went with you -sweetheart- the day angels called you home.
For things on earth didn't matter, but now I feel so alone,
My heart will always be broken, my life will never be whole.
We might be parted for awhile, our hearts will always be together

Sometimes it's hard to understand
To see the reason why,
Sometimes it's hard to find the words
To say that last goodbye.
Sometimes it's hard to look ahead
With eyes still filled with tears,
But all our cherished memories
Will live on through the years.
And though there are no answers
The questions still remain,
Sometimes we just can't comprehend
Or understand the pain.
Sometimes it's hard to look beyond
The rainclouds in the sky,

Your angel is right here.
Although you cannot see me,
I can see your tears.

I visit you often,
I go to work with you each day,
And when it's time to close your eyes,
On your pillow is where I lay.

Mom, Please Listen
Mom, please listen to me
as I take the time to write.
I see parents struggling daily,
Their pain is such a fight...

All of us who've gone
And left the rest of you behind...
We're ok, Mom, I promise ...
Heaven is beautiful and God is kind.

You used to tell me that one day
God would call and take you home.
You told me you'd make me strong
So I would stand tall when alone.

But things happen, Mom
That does not go in our plans,
I wasn't scared, Mom,
When God held out his hand.

I didn't want to leave you,
I didn't have time to say good-bye
When the angels said, "Come with us"
There wasn't time to question why.

I've watched you daily, Mom.
It hurts to see you cry.
I don't want you to be unhappy,
Just because we didn't get to say good-bye.

Tell others what I'm telling you,
So many parents need to know
That Earth was just a layover
We had another place to go.

I know you miss me, Mom
I know your heart was broken in two.
But God really neededme
Because my earthly life was through.

You just can't see me there.

I'm nearly at your resting place. And just I get near, I swear I hear your voice cry out. Look mum-I'm over here. Iv'e brought some lovely flowers. For you my lovely daughter, I'll only be a minute now, i'll go and get some water. As I walk across the grass. And place the flowers in the pot, I say to God, forgive me. But I miss her such a lot. They say that everything that's wished. Comes to those who wait, I wish I could gather you in my arms . And run out of the gate.
